Yoshie Takeo aims to design spaces that have the ability to transcend a meaning or idea into something that truly inspires others.

Unafraid of trying something new and different, Yoshie wishes to create design solutions that are beautifully functional yet emotionally thought provoking spaces.
Yoshie’s unique vision and approach to Design is largely influenced by her upbringing, she was born and brought up in Hong Kong, but had strong ties to her Japanese roots. Through the mix of cultural experiences she has adopt a unique perspective of the environment around her. Since a young age, Yoshie has always aspired to become an Interior Designer and knew she wanted to establish a company of her own. During her high school years, she confirmed her aspirations and decided to pursue Interior Design after visiting her friend’s home (designed by her friend’s mother).
She studied her bachelors in Environmental and design at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Graduating at the top of her class, she received her Masters of Science Degree in Interior Architecture & Design at Drexel University, Philadelphia, US, accredited by CIDA and NASAD.
During and after her Graduate studies, Yoshie received various prestigious awards for her innovative design projects. Deeply inspired by Shigeru Ban’s paper tube architecture and humanitarian buildings, Yoshie took an interest in sustainable design and obtained her LEED AP ID + C credential. She worked in both Honk Kong and the United States at architecture and interior design firms specializing in hospitality, F&B and office designs. She also worked for a reknown developer in Hong Kong specializing residential developments in Hong Kong and China.
